The definition of excellence!!!

Pros: Unmatchable quality, separate gain controls

Cons: It's a sin to even write "con" near a statement about this amp

I bought this amp to power my 2 front 5.25 Infinity Kappas and 2 rear 6x9 Kappas. While I already have a 400 rms Xplod powering 2 Premier 10'' subs. As for the Rockford amp, the published power rating is 50 x4. My amp came with a rated 95 x4 as usual for Rockford, severely underrating their amps. Before installing this amp the 4 Kappas were running directly off of my Premier head unit giving them 25 rms, 50 max. Just that alone sounded great and went pretty loud. After installing this amp, I cannot even describe the sheer glory and happiness I felt as my 2 neighbors came out of their houses screaming, saying they heard every word of the song playing. Besides producing a thunderous level of volume, I cannot even believe the quality an clarity of sound produced by this amp. Meanwhile the gain is set below 40% so I can only imagine the possibilities if my fronts could handle more. Besides any louder would shatter glass and blow your eardrums out. Of coarse major credit it due to Infinity, the Kappas being incredible on their own but I installed this amp two days ago and I find myself getting lost on purpose just so I can be in my car longer. My friend and myself did an experiment last night, I drove my car 2 blocks away and turned the volume up to about 80%, after driving back my friend stated that he clearly hear every single note and word of the music playing ad it was clear too. Let that be a proof the possibilities of this amp's performance. I haven't been this happy in years. I rather be in my car than in my girlfriend if you know what I mean. If you do buy this amp don't go cheapo and buy crappy wires, give this amp the respect it deserves with the highest quality wires you can find. I, myself went a little overboard spending $500 on competition wires and $200 on a 3 farad digital power cap but I am sure happy I did. My car is now the best sounding car audio system I have ever heard and it sure feels good to have car installation pros say the same thing. To anyone and everyone, if you are looking for the best 4 channel amp to drive your 4 door speakers don't look any further for this amp is the definition of greatness. Congrats. to Rockford for producing the highest quality amp I have ever heard. In the future I would never buy another amp except a Rockford!!! ...
