Cons: a few exaggerations
This movie was used to teach medical students for a few years and I still use it. I am a cardiac surgeon who now teaches students. The operating room scenes are quite realistic. The scenes where he is treated rudely by other doctors are unrealistic but make a point about how we are perceived by our patients. Having been a patient, I know how realistic those scenes are. It is beautifully done and should be a part of medical education. It and the movie "Hospital" should be shown to every medical student. They are the best depiction of medicine in modern movies. ...
