This game makes you feel like Captain Kirk!
Pros: Awesome game play
Cons: Some levels are hard
This game on Nintendo DS or PSP is awesome. The PSP has the better graphics, but the DS gives you the touch screen which adds to the overall game play.
The DS touch screen makes you feel like your at the helm of a Federation ship. It even makes cool bleeping noises when touched.
The game literally sucks you in for hours as you battle the Klinglons and investigate an assasination. I won't spoil it but the story line is pretty good.
Classic ship to ship battles while trying to understand the inter-play between the Romulans, Klinglons, and Federation. Of course, the Romulans are always the ultra evil ones, yeah - blame the Romulans!

Awesome! Best title yet for this genre
1 of 2 Yahoo! Users found this review helpfulPros: You get amped up playing this
Cons: No Internet play, only Skirmish and no download play
As a Trekkie, I've always wanted a Star Trek game for a handheld. The Nintendo DS has the dual screen and when you play this game, its so handy to use to control your weapons, shields, comm and warp. Its just like you were at the helm of the Enterprise.
The game play is great. Space battles in this game for the DS and PSP will only occur in 2D. This was the only negative thing but if it did go into 3D it would end up as a flight simulator.
The campaigns lead you through a mult-threaded story line where you pick reponses that drive the story one way or another. Its a nice touch.
This is by far, my most favorite DS game! Awesome, I only hope there's a sequel. ... -

Great but not that great
5 of 5 Yahoo! Users found this review helpfulPros: Best way of indexing 400 DVDs
Cons: slow access, painful interface
I got mine shipped for $299. I think that's a very fair price for this machine. I wouldn't have paid more for it. For $299 and free shipping, this machine is a great value.
The Sony came well packed. Instructions were clear, however, it came with the cheapest cables money could not buy.
Loading 400 DVDs is easy, open the main port and just start sliding them in. Once loaded, the machine needs to "LOAD" them and identify what you've loaded in it - music, videos, etc....
Now comes the painful part. Labeling and then filing them.
The UI of the Sony player is like all home consumer products - they suck. The process is slow and tedious. However, it does work - just very slowly. With a PS/2 keyboard, it goes much faster.
Sony should get a clue and know that no one owns a PS/2 keyboard - everyone has a USB these days!!!!!
Sony needs a user interface that mirror the quality by Replay or TIVO. Put a USB port on it so the user can upload all that info quickly via a application that they run on their PC/Mac. It would be so much nicer if it did.
Disk access as with any of these mega-changes is slow. It takes about 40 seconds to play a movie. Also, it keeps playing where it left off which is annoying. ...
Good Little Wi-Fi
Pros: Compact, good range, fast throughput
Cons: No dual band support (G) only
I bought this to replace my crappy Linksys WRT51AB which was Linksys basically abandoned after manufacture. So far, I've had little to no luck with any Linksys wireless networking devices. They suck!
This D-link is my first and for $50, it was a great buy. I've had it for a little over 2 years and it works great. Easy setup, great compatibility, good range, and solid throughput.
D-Link really stands by its product and even after 2 years, they release new firmware to improve its performance. Unlike Linksys which hardly ever supports their equipment.
Give D-Link a try. If this one fries out after this year, I'll buy another D-Link any day over Linksys. I've also had really bad experience with Netgear. ...
