Franchise mode is extremely limitted
Freestyle is cool but gives huge advantage to offense. Franchise mode is lacking in several areas. First of all no matter how you start it most teams are way over the salary cap. This makes trading real difficult. There is little you can do to keep players on your team in terms of resigning them. You cant trade draft picks or anything like that. The gameplay is pretty good but I am very disappointed in this game overall. ...
