A Refreshing Look at a Love Story
The characters feel real; the acting is superb; and the maturity of all involved spawns an environment of hope for each of us. This is the first film in a long time that dealt with "alternative sexualities" in a way that felt so right--gay men as they are, not just a stage of faeries, but rather the realistic mix of people "you'd never think were gay" as well. The story is intriguing, and while the plot and its outcome are fairly predictable, the emotional tow is strong; you can't help but fall to tears before its over. ...
