disastrous, not up to par w/50's album and beef
Pros: I smell pu**y
Cons: the rest of the album
okay, the Yayo song was good. Kudos to Yayo and Game, but the album was wack. When they want to have a beef with Ja, they don't fight back on the album. In fact, Ja Rule's album Blood in my Eye is a million times better than G Unit, Lloyd Banks, Buck. That's what the fans are looking for. Look at Biggie and Pac. 50 and Ja isn't matching up. DOn't put 50 with Pac or Biggie. They would lyrically bash him if they were alive. G Unit are WANKSTAS! All the real gangstas Nas, Shyne, Ja,Scarface and everyone else are hatin them. The album was soft. Lloyd Banks was talking about how girls smile. 50 boasts about his fake rims and cars and all that on Stunt. Young Buck, go back to Cash MOney. He ain't gangsta for NY. Represent the South. In My Buddy, they're crying about Yayo. Wanna get to know ya was wack. Eye for Eye was kiddish. Are they begging mercy from Ja, but still have beef with him? The title is wack. Dre and Em, don't waste your time on G Unit, keep Game, Yayo, and 50, get rid of the rest and concentrate with Busta and Eve. ...

Great
Pros: Lyrics and beats
Cons: using Dre's Nuthin but a G Thang beat
Faster rapper alive. Best rhymes. Hot beats. Great album. However, he copied Dre's Nuthin but a G Thang beat. Twista, u ain't close to Dre, don't use beats without asking him. Takes away credibility ...

FLAWS
Pros: Winan's vocals and ability to sing and produce
Cons: RAPPERS, copying the Fugees beat, inability to show R&B, R.Kelly prototype
Winan's vocals were ok, but please don't be like R.Kelly and put Rappers on the album. You changed yourself from R&B to something unknown. Lil Flip is a loser, Loon doesn't need to be there, besides he's losing his New York gangsta image, Black Rob doesn't fit in your style, and Foxy Brown is dead in the rap game. We don't need her back. Finally, you and the British group the Pirates are idiots for taking a hit beat from the Fugees song "Ready or Not" You're a producer, not a beat copier or Pi-Rater. ...

Ok, but not great
Pros: Lyrics
Cons: collabs, realisticness and beats
the songs were good, although the beats weren't. The beats were too new for the time, which would make him one of those pop wannabe rappers. Some of the beats and songs were good when his posse and bad boy were making the song. I didn't like the other collabs such as Big Tymers, Eminem, and the Hot Boyz. BIG would have never wanted an album with those rappers and beats. Overall, the album had some good lyrics and songs BIGGIE liked, but the rest he wouldn't have liked ...

Great, but some flaws
Pros: great beats and rhymes. Realistic like Pac. like the songs
Cons: need more songs and club anthems. Needs to represent the South more. More collabs. More Lil Jon crunk production and Dre and Eminem. Needs to collab with the south more and with more people across the nation.
I like all the songs. They all represent what happened in his life and past, like what Pac would write. He doesn't boast a lot like his G-Unit buddy Lloyd Banks. However, his album is like a storybook. There needs to be club anthems. There's only 2 singles that will out on the streets and nationwide with Let me in and Shorty Wanna Ride w/ Lil JOn. Good beat, but there's no Lil Jon on the track. There's also David Banner he can work with on some tracks. He needs to represent the south. He's a memphis guy rapping like Nas. He needs to put Lil Jon on the whole album, bring in D-Tay, 8ball and MJG, Luda, T.I., trick daddy, and most definitely Cash MOney. He doesn't hate them, so why not go in the dirty south and collab with them. Also, why is there no Juvie. If he doesn't want to represent the south, he needs to have Dre and Eminem exclusively do the album and sometimes Sha Money XL. Finally, he should do tracks with Jay Z, Kanye West, Twista, and other people from across the U.S. ...
Strong album again
22 of 28 Yahoo! Users found this review helpfulPros: Beats, Candy Shop, Disco Inferno, Outta Control, Piggy Bank, Gatman and Robbin, Build you up
Cons: Constant beef and negativity, same old topics in songs (sex, drugs, money, beef), Game and Aftermath controversy
The Massacre is a great and strong sequel to Get Rich or Die Tryin. He leaves off from there hungry and on top of the rap world. He has a different production team who bring in great beats and releive some pressure from Em and Dre, who are working on their albums and Game Candy Shop is a great 1st single with a nice beat and flow to the song. Gatman and Robbin with Eminem and the Dre-produced Outta Control are similar to Patiently Waiting and In Da Club. Piggy Bank was a great diss song with a good chorus and beat. He even brought in Oscar and Grammy winner Jamie Foxx on the song Build you up which should be one of his other singles. It's good he left his G Unit buddy Yayo be on few songs because he will be a good up and coming rapper, but he should just take out Olivia because she's awful and getting attention only because of Candy Shop However, there are still weaknesses to this album. Besides the fact that G-Unit still talk about the same topics over and over again (drugs, sex, money, ruling the world,), the beefing with rappers needs to stop. The beef with Game, i thought, went totally out of hand on 50's part. If he will be a leader, he needs to understand that he needs to stop the rap violence and open up to all rappers. If Game's friends with someone who you have beef with, then you should let him work with Nas. You shouldn't kick him out because he's not on your side. Nas isn't saying anything about you. On the next weakness, 50 may he hurting Dre by saying his next album is his last on Aftermath, but he'll stay Shady/G Unit. He's again beefing with Dre because he was working with Game and couldn't work with 50. In the end, 50 needs to grow up as a rapper and make up with these rappers like Jada, Nas, and Ja Rule because soon, it will be 50 vs. the world. And that will turn out ugly. Right now, however, this album will be commercially successful and will sell over 4 million worldwide ...
