Cons: Quality at SLP lacking
I was hesitant to purchase this because of some reviews that warned of mechanical problems and quality. I decided to take a chance because my brother is delighted with his, and it was also available at one of those 5am Thanksgiving morning supersales for $100 off. I bought one and I love it. All the technical reviews had great praise for the easy menu screen and they didn't exaggerate. It's a snap to use. I find the quality to be just fine. I have some one-hour tapes that I transfer at the three hour speed and that works very well for me. ...
