samsung dlp 6186
Pros: size for the money
Cons: remote can be hard to use in the dark
did a lot of internet shopping and the 6186 was the best investment for the money. was also looking at the plasma tv, but you get more for less with the dlp.
it is hard to tell the picture difference and is 700 to 1000 dollars less then the plasma.
was concerned about possible problems with the flywheel and bulb but i purchased the tv with an additional 4 year warranty with should cover the problems if the occur. i walked out of the store with the warranty, tax and tv for under $2000.00 ...

AFTER A LOT OF RESEARCH ON PLASMA AND LCD SETS THIS UNIT SEEMS TO GIVE THE BEST QAULITY FOR THE PRICE. I ALSO HAVE A SAMSUNG 61" DLP AND HAVE BEEN VERY HAPPY WITH THAT TV. I LET THE KIDS PLAY THEIR VIDEO GAMES ON THE DLP BECAUSE OF MY CONCERN FOR ANY OF THE BURN IN FACTOR AND WATCH THE PLASMA FOR MOVIES. I HAVE HAD IT FOR A LITTLE OVER A WEEK AND HAVE NOT HAD ANY PROBLEMS YET AND DO NOT EXPECT TO. ...
