LATTER DAYS LATTER BEAUTY
Pros: A BEAUTIFUL, RICH, LATTER DAY TREASURE
Cons: SOUNDTRACK, UNFORTUNATELY IS HORRIBLE
What a beauty. What a real, real beauty. This soft, delicate story of a Mormon missionary coming to terms with his sexuality when he meets up with a guy so out he's out of this world is yet another movie like Maurice and Brokeback Mountain to tell a gay story with stealth, honesty, and a generous dose of reality.
Steve Sandvoss is a wonder as the awkward,
timid, but sexy missionary wrestling with his sexuality and Wes Ramsey is the hot shot , flamboyant stud that looks to challenge Steve's sraight-laced missionary poise in a bet made with a girlfriend that comes to topple with both the young mens emotions and hearts.
See this movie. Watch a couple times. It'll give you pride, hope, and understanding while letting you know that not only being different, but thinking different are both alright in the world.

JUSTIN WORKS IT....AND I SWEAT [Yummy!!]
Pros: First Part Does Vintage Prince Proud
Cons: Second Part Almost Loses Gas
I didn't care much for "Justified." I thought he was on something he wasn't very good at. I gave it two shots and just made Justin a boy toy extroidinnaire.
Much later I had the telly on and Justin [Hot-thang] was a guest. He sang "Sexyback." It became my mantra. Using it in my computer world I got and am getting alot of mileage from. It is a hot song, all bump and grind in the 21st century, it's a hot song!!
So I gave the album a spin. Yikes!! It's a hot album. Propelled by the stark Kraftwerk meets
"Dirty Mind," it slinks it's way into "Sexyback" and other great jams like "My Love"/"Chop Me Up"/ and "love Stoned." I liked "Damn Girl too.
But it is only when it starts getting sloshy that a gas staion better come up soon. It doesn't, but it's pretty and you can grab a towel and clean up before you start all over again It's a hot album]'
It's worth the price of admission, I could dance to "Sexyback" for hours, But you be the judge. Get yourself a copy, crank it up, strip down to your underwear and pull the blinds.....
It's "Sexyback" I'm telling ya, "Sexyback!!!!!" ...

ADVANCE TOOLBAR : Innovative, Fun, Frustrating
0 of 1 Yahoo! Users found this review helpfulPros: Wipes the floor with your current toolbar
Cons: A bit buggy at times
Anyone who does much searching can appreciate something like this. With over a possible 100 or so search engines including any you use right now, the skies the limit in what you can ask for or places, even countries you can go.
Also of great note is how it not only picks up your own tabs, but many of the tool accessibilities available of your own computer. There are feeds to choose from or pick your own, pick up maill from anywhere, an efficient pop-up blocker and much, much ,much more.
Downside? There are a few mechanical bugs to be sure, especially of something designed
to do so much from just your browser and a mostly cascade windows, but I've never had it mess with my system or cause a freeze or outtage. And it pretty much wipes the floor with the toolbar your using now.

FIDDLING WITH DISASTER [Clearing the Past]
Pros: Easy if jumbled read.
Cons: Few if at all.
An easy and engrossing read about the life of Canadian musician Ashley MacIsaac: fiddle virtuoso, composer, actor, activist, politician, and from what I've expierenced, one of the nicest and most open gay celebrities you'd ever know.
From a happy and well to do childhood to active teenage performer and entrepeneur [he sold CD's of his music out of the trunk that he paid for to have pressed] to a troubled adult career and personal life are told here with grit, humour and it seems wonder that even he himself came out of it all intact.
The man himself is special, and his brand of contemporary and traditional fiddle music can be intoxicating and enjoying. And a man not willing to conform, there's his last effort, PRIDE, a pseudo 70's garage "fiddlepunk" slam is a backward blast of Binaca, not to be missed.
Still at it after 20 years, where he's to go to day is anyones guess but if you want to read an honest story about a great musician and check out some of his barn stormin' fiddle rockin' have a look and listen to Ashley MacIsaac. It's all about PRIDE! RLW. ... -

BROKEBACK BEAUTIFUL
Pros: Exquisite performances, Wonderful look and script and Brilliant direction
Cons: There were none for me!
HEATH LEDGER AND jAKE GYLLENTHAL
"BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN"
DIRECTED BY ANG LEE
What a beautiful film.
And a better one in a very long time to tackle the theme of gay relationships in such an adult and winning way.
It's a great date movie as well. Especially for gays. Imagine. A great gay date movie nominted for Oscars. In America? Well it's deserving. From the exquisite performances by Heath Ledger as Ennis and Jake Gyllenthal as Jack, a wonderful look and sensitive script, and a brilliant realisation of a vision by the director Ang Lee.
It is the story of a difficult relationship between teo Wyoming cowboys that come together unexpectedly one night and spend the next twenty years struggling to keep their love alive.
The two male leads are electric together with the tent sequence being a favorite, a sexy, smouldering, passionate and surprising for the two characters.
Their portrayals of the couple left me weak in the knees and all mushy inside and teary eyed for the first time in awhile and I was haunted by an ageless and infinitely filmed story but NEVER this way and NEVER this good.
Extras on the DVD didn't amount to much save save a LOGO produced documentary about the making of the film and a making a cowboy featurette.

Aw C'mon Joe, your Killing Us
Pros: I'ts Pure Joe Phillips For The Mailbox
Cons: More! More! More!
Who's gay and doesn't like the work of Joe Phillips? You need to move on and go have your head examined. All that do? Here we go.
I love Joe Philipps illustrations. They are a slice of gay americana that you can't find anywhere else. An explosion of colour and image, with one scenario he can tell a history of the gay expierence without offending or alarming.
This particular product is a postcard book version of the original same titled book, a panorama of young gay men, living, loving, and raising some hell in the heartland, all beautifully drawn and captured by Phillips that just seem to jump out at you like a movie ot tv show.
I'm new to Joe's work but I fell hard the first time I saw it and put it on all my gifts lists for the year. After all, I can't imagine a better time to be had than with Joe and the boys. ...
