Amazing soundtrack
Pros: Serious, deep, thoughtful
Cons: hard to find
This is the soundtrack of "The Good The Bad and The Ugly", the third and last on the Sergio Leone´s and Clint Eastwood, adventurous Fistful of Dollar series, and one of the best movies ever made. Digital copy paste special effects artificial soldiers? You will find none of those in here, those soldiers in there were real, the crowd is crude and real.
Two of the best tracks ever to appear in any soundtrack are here.
"The Ecstasy of Gold", the amazing angelic song Metallica used to open their shows....
and..."The Trio", bittersweet tragic and dramatic music for the final "duel", with spanish guitars and..everything. Nuff´said ... -

Cons: A little bit hard to find
I love Ennio Morricone´s Sparghetti Western music, saw the fun Sergio Leone´s movies all too many times, and the adventurous, sometimes crude, sometimes celestial music is always oustanding.
I love Dulce Pontes, i´ve been in Portugal, fell in love with the tragic portuguese music known as Fado, which is sung by beautiful angelical ladies with black hair and black dress. It is a little bit sad that most of the prolific portuguese music is not known around the world by the simple fact that is not in english, but it´s there to be discovered.
I must admit i never saw this team up coming, this cross-over. A most welcome surprise. Any music love should do himself a favour and grab this one pronto. ...

Super hero Star Trek

Rich, complex, complete. The ship, the characters, everyone knows who they are (or they are about to) and what they´re up to. Once again saving civilization as they know it.
Jerry Goldsmith Star Trek theme music is par to John William´s Star Wars, Indiana Jones and Danny Elfman´s Batman. A real pantheon of music Gods. ...
