Horrible Movie!!
Ok I really dont know what movie you other 3 reviewers saw, but go ahead and watch Blood Surf again and tell me that it's better than Lake Placid!! Now I am not saying that Lake Placid is like Academy Award material but it is so far better than Blood Surf!! That movie couldn't even make it into the theaters!! Those special effects were so fake looking as though the filmmakers had taken many steps back in time to where special effects sucked!! Lake Placid did however make it into the theaters so that says something right there. So for those who have not seen Blood Surf, which is not even carried by a lot of video stores, should for sure not waste your money because it was not good and i did very much want my money and my time back after i ended up forwading through half of it!! ... -

Don't Waste Your Money On This One!!!
Ok, I have come to the conclusion that nearly 100% of all straight to video movies are going to end up being complete trash!! This Loch Ness movie was so bad and so dumb that after 30 minutes into the movie,I found myself forwading through to the end!! It was just not good at all. These people should be ashamed to be in such a horrible film. I would rather have no movies under my belt than ones that aren't even worthy enough to get into the theatres!!! How embarassing it must be!! Ha!! And don't even get me started on the visual effects that they used for the sea creature because when watching it, I felt as though moviemakers had taken about 5000 steps back in time to where special effects just sucked!! Because they sure did suck here!! It looked so fake and it was almost funny seeing some of it. They say that this movie is like other monster flicks like Anaconda, Lake Placid,and Deep Blue Sea. Do not be fooled for those 3 films are actually very good ones. Beneath Loch Ness should not even be placed anywhere near the good monster/creature flicks. So when in the video store make sure to steer clear of this one because now I want my 4 bucks back!! It was a waste of the 45 minutes i spent forwading through it!! ...

Crossroads......
Being a fan of Britney Spears, it was a given that I see this movie. When it was over I left not totally dissapointed, but for sure not totally impressed. Even after just now seeing it a second time on video I still stand where I did back in February. I found Britney's acting skills to be actually not that bad along with the rest of the cast. It was the plot that needed the work. This movie just tried to be too many things. It wanted to be funny, which at sometimes it was and then it wanted to flip over and be really sad and dramatic. I felt as though they wanted to cram too much into this film. It is a chick flick and they just made it too dramatic and serious for what it was. They just didn't have enough to run off of by what was given to them in the script so through most of the movie you find yourself sighing and wondering when things will pick up. It was not totally boring but it did seem to shuffle its feet at many parts. It could have been a much better movie had the script and storyline been better. Just too many things were put on top of a story that just wasn't much of a story. If you have a weak base then building upon it will just show how lacking it really is. Again I was impressed with Britney's performance, she did do well for a performer/singer. The movie was halfway decent though and I really find that the only ones who truely liked this movie are the 10-15 year old girls who just get caught up in all the drama and silly moments that the girls have in the movie which by doing so they totally miss the point that the movie ran out of gas not even halfway through it. ...
