VERY Quiet
Pros: Quiet, good cleaning
Cons: Liquid detergent chamber
We bought this dishwasher when it just came on the market. We were looking for a very quiet dishwasher, as our kitchen is open and adjacent to the family room. We owned a Bosch DW before which had constant problems and bad cleaning results. Considered a Miele, but they were just too expensive and based on the reviews we read, had little advantage over other brands. So we went with the GE. Very good cleaning results and very, very quiet. We often have to hold the hand on the front panel to find out if it is running.... Only problem we encountered is the liquid detergent holder built into the front door. It worked great for a couple of months, then it clogged up and we found no way to unclog it. We are now using the standard dispenser, and it works fine. If you are looking for a quiet, well performing DW, this model is it. ...
