By Far The Best Tony Hawk! (Review and O
8 of 8 Yahoo! Users found this review helpful If you like any of the other Tony games, then definitely buy this. It is by far the best Tony Hawk game. Instead of running around each level trying to get everything done in a 2 minute time limit, there are no time limits, and you have to talk to people so they can give you an objective. Some objectives have time limits, and the objectives are a lot funner, and more creative than in the other Tony Hawk games. There are 190 goals in all, and you only have to complete career mode once instead of the tedious way of doing the goals again with every skater. Career mode is also tougher than ever. Since I am an expert Tony Hawk player, it only took me four days to complete career mode, although beginners and people that are okay at it will find it a lot more challenging and will take them a lot longer to complete it. For example, in Tony Hawk 3, the highest pro score is 500,000 points. In here, the highest is 1.5 million! Also, each pro player has one pro challenge they can do, some are things they have actually done in real life. For example, Tony Hawks pro challenge is to transfer and do tricks between two half pipes. Andrew Reynolds pro challenge is to do tricks while jumping over big gaps, and with Bam Margera you get to ride around in shopping carts. Completing each pros pro challenge will also unlock that skaters movie. The soundtrack has 35 songs from rappers and bands like NWA,Run DMC,System Of A Down,AC/DC,Iron Maiden, and The Offspring. So, if you liked any of the Tony Hawk games, buy this, it is worth you money. ... -

Nice job Angel Studios!
Great job Angel Studios for proving everybody wrong about the N64 by cramming two cds worth of speech and FMV into one cartridge! A good port of a good Playstation game! ... -

Awesome racing game!
If you like racing games definitely buy this game. There may be only 6 tracks, but they're awesome and have tons of cool jumps and shortcuts. -

This is good, but stick with PS version.
This game plays a little smoother than the PS version, but a lot of music is taken out of this version, and there are no video clips. But it is just as fun, so buy it if you only have a N64. ... -

Awesome!
This game is awesome and easily the skateboarding game ever, definitely buy this game. The only complaints I have is there isn't a gap checklist this time, and although the career mode is improved, it gets tedious having to beat it with all the characters to unlock everything. I'm sure Tony Hawk 4 will really improve on the career mode. But, other than that, this is a great game. ... -

This game kicks major ass!
This game is so awesome, anybody that says this games sucks can kiss my ass. If you don't have this game get off your ass right now and purchase it! There is lots of stuff to do. It has about 100 missions, and you can also steal a taxi and take people to places to earn money or steal an ambulance and take people to the hospital to make some more money. Also, if you feel like being good, you can steal a cop car and go around chasing down crooks. Even if you've done all that, it's just a blast to drive around the city causing all sorts of hell! Purchase this game, it is well worth your money. ... -

You better have an expansion pack.
2 of 3 Yahoo! Users found this review helpful This game is awesome. It is one of the best shooters ever, so you should definitely buy it. You better have an expansion pack though, and if you don't, buying an expansion pack with this game is essential. Without the expansion pack, you can't play single-player mode and will be stuck with just multiplayer, and the single-player game is awesome. Plus with the pack the game will have better graphics. Even though some people without expansion packs might be turned off knowing that they will have to shell out even more money for this game for an expansion pack, but it is totally worth it. BUY THIS GAME AND MAKE SURE YOU HAVE AN EXPANSION PACK! ...
Fun, yet inferior to other versions
0 of 1 Yahoo! Users found this review helpful I you have only a Nintendo 64, then you definitely should buy this game. However, if you also have a Playstation, then ignore the Nintendo 64 version and spring for the Playstation version instead, since it is superior to the N64 version in several ways. The PSX version has 15 full songs and the N64 version has only 6, and they're not even the full songs, just sections from the song are played and looped. Also, the PSX version has videos of each character to unlock, and the N64 doesn't, so you don't get much of a reward for completing Career mode. Even the PSX version has better graphics, which is sad since the N64 is suppose to be more powerful. This shows you how little effort the developers made in porting this game from the PSX to N64. At least the game is still fun to play, which is the most important aspect of a game. ...
