Welcome to Pixelated Life
Pros: Excellent gameplay, Great graphics, Endless Enjoyment
Cons: Takes a while to load, even on a fairly decent PC
I've been a Sims fan since the original Sims came out (Before that I played SimCity, so my experience goes way back...) This game is incredible. Your sims come to life with improved graphics, genetics, realistic animation, and aging.
The real appeal of the Sims 2 comes from being able to do whatever you want to do with your sims. I know some people who create them to destroy them, whereas I have created my own little community of rich people. Some prefer the creative aspect of building and landscaping or even clothing and object creation.
The one con, the load time... But it's well worth wait. ... -

Beyond my expectations
7 of 7 Yahoo! Users found this review helpfulPros: Ability to adjust camera settings such as aperture and exposure
Cons: Photo upload software
For anyone looking for a good digital camera at a good price, I recommend the Kodak EasyShare Z730. It is packed full of features normally seen at a higher price range. High quality jpg images, 4x optical zoom (with an additional digital zoom for those really close up shots), settings to play with to your hearts content, and when you just want to take some good pictures without having to play with the settings there is always the auto picture mode. Easy to use.
I do not recommend this camera for those who want to shoot more video than take pictures. The video mode is fun to play with but the quality is on the lower end of the scale.
The other drawback is you have to use the software that comes with it to upload your pictures and video to your computer. My previous camera was just plug in the usb, then move the files where you want. This one is plug in the usb, then open the "Easy"share software, transfer the photos, then search for an hour to find the directory it put the photos in. I circumvented the searching by putting a shortcut to the folder on my desktop. The camera will not be on your drive list under "My computer". You must use the software. If anyone knows a better way around it... Please let me know.
Overall, despite the software woes, I am content with the camera and highly recommend it. ...
They can DRIVE!
1 of 1 Yahoo! Users found this review helpfulPros: Excellent add-on to an already great game, expanded game play options, dating, and best of all your sims have finally passed their driver's license exams!
Cons: It's an expansion pack. My system has trouble with them. I wind up having to uninstall everything and reinstall each pack one by one again. Your mileage may vary, good luck, and don't forget to back up before installing!
I expected another "Sims:Hot Date". I got so much more. Mrs. Crumplebottom has returned, along with scores of new characters, or vampires if you prefer... I don't quite get the vampire thing, but reading the boards at the Sims 2 website, a lot of other people enjoy them. It is entirely possible to ignore the fact they're there and play on with the other new features, which is exactly what I do.
Possibly the best thing to ever happen to our sims is included with this expansion pack, cars. We asked for them and we have finally got them. I still get a thrill from sending a sim to his car and watching him drive off the lot to meet up with a date downtown.
As mentioned in the cons, it is entirely possible to have trouble installing the game. Make sure you back up your Sims 2 folder in your documents before installing. ...
