Good movie in a box office "bomb" disgui
0 of 1 Yahoo! Users found this review helpful Alot of people may say, "Imposter, isnt that a direct-to-video flick?" No it isnt, but ask anyone the box office numbers and there will be one of those uncomfortable silences. For anyone who enjoys a sci-fi thriller, and movies set in the "not so distant" future (of course to see all the cool gadgets that may pop up in the real world some day.), this is a good movie. Along the lines of the Spielberg/Cruise summer hit, Minority Report. So I say, if you liked Minority Report, and I loved it, then see Imposter. You will be pleasently suprised. ... -

Everything you want, and more!!
A wonderful mixture of hard rocking guitar tracks and true-to-life lyrics makes this album one of the best in the new mellinium. If this is the future of music...all hail Vertical Horizon. For those of you who have only heard the two singles, please buy this album, "best i ever had (grey sky morning)" will really win you over. ... -

Mallrats meets Divine Intervention
Did you like "Mallrats"? How bout' "Clerks"? Well maybe "Chasing Amy"? If so, then you'll get "Holy" enjoyment from this flick. Kevin Smiths', (A.K.A. Silent Bob), latest film about the end of the world and God, played by Alanis Morissette, will have you laughing hysterically at all your favorites from his previous mentioned films, along with some new, but recognizable faces also. Still driven by its intellectual dialogue, this one is definately one to see. ... -

creed, (The new SUPERGROUP?)
When a rock group such as this comes along, say.... once every blue moon, people, (being MTV's TRL watchers and VH1 fanatics), at first, don't really warm up to them . "My Own Prison" being the perfect example. But with "HumanClay" Creed has entered the "upper echelon" of rock.
With tracks like "Higher", "What If", and "With Arms Wide Open", they solitify a place in current rock history. But its the tracks like "The Beautiful" and "Are You Ready" that make this album, and this band "ROCK". Look for this group to stay here and strong for a long time to come. ...

Maroon, Gets a 5!!!
6 of 6 Yahoo! Users found this review helpful In a time of manufactured "POP" stars, people like yours truly long for something new and origional. Seeking the un-stereotipical, no matter what genre. This band breathes a needed breath of fresh, soul-filled air into the "Brittany Spears, NSYNC, MOBY, Eminem" Poluted radio On-air. Blue-Eyed soul still lives in Adam Levine's vocals and lyrics. Combined with the jazz/soul/funk melodies that mirror music that made Stevie Wonder the legend he is today, Maroon 5 should be praised.(not only by me). Tracks "Harder to Breathe", and "Sunday Morning" will quench the appitite for bright, funky, songs that make you really feel what music can do, while "Must Get Out", and my personal favorite, "She Will Be Loved", should make the music industry hang it's head in shame for patronizing the Bubble-Gum ridden filth heard on the radio these days. I can only hope Maroon 5 doesn't make a dent, but blows a hole in the roof of radio! ...
