Pioneer PDP-5070HD Television
3 of 4 Yahoo! Users found this review helpfulPros: 1st Class
Cons: None
This is my second Flat Screen TV and I did and extensive review before I bought it. This TV is incredible, the colors, the functionalities, the inputs and outputs. Everything was perfect since the TV arrive, I just connect the cables and the TV did all the rest. So far, I have connected a computer, Tivo, a DVD, a VCR, Cable, and Satellite, and off course my 6 year old son X-Box which I'm starting to enjoy inmesily with him. By the way still have input for more. I cant get over how good it looks in every aspect and input, and by the way the TV itself is beautiful, with a frame where the picture images seams to be floating. The remote control is great too and very easy to use and program, and controlling all my extras with the exception of Tivo and the X-box.. My recommendation if you get to purchase this item, have all your cables ready and label when the TV arrive, that way you want lose any time to see this beauty in all it splendor. Viva HDTV, Viva Pioneer.
I have not rate support, but and hope that if some day I have a problem with the TV, they will have a service as good as this TV. ... ... -

Canon PowerShot SD600 Digital Camera
Pros: Size, Weight, Features, Video,LCD Screen...
Cons: Flash in certain situations
I absolutely love this camera. I just spent two weeks in Puerto Rico and have come back with wonderful pictures and videos. The camera is small enough to fit in my small purse. A stylish leather case can be purchased in order to carrry it as well, which is nice (I purchased it too). The camera comes with lots of different features and is easy to use. It has a very nice LCD Screen, and also captures sound perfectly when recording videos. I've had a few issues with the flash where in certain situations it hasn't provided as much light as desired, but not a big deal. It's a great buy! ... ...

Palm TX PDA
Pros: Built in DocsToGo7, built in MS-Outlook support, built in networking file share
Cons: Unable to switch to/from browser without restarting app, Power switch must be mashed in - rather than just pressed, should include a hard case
My employer gave me a Palm m125 two years ago - it worked ok, but had very limited memory (rapid intro into SD cards) and had the AAA batteries. After complaining to myself for a year, about always losing my data at battery change time, I started looking for a new PDA.
The Lifedrive looked interesting, but was a bit over the top - and I'm just not into Treo's or Blackberrys. So then I looked at the TX.
Native WiFi and BT, Docs to go (been using that with the m125), and support for Outlook (been using Chapura) - got my attention. The supersize screen, with rotation, is a huge plus - and the colors... wow (not an option on the m125).
The various reviews mention that it is intended to support 40 minutes of active use a day - I've gone higher than that - but the battery does get a little low - so battery life is an issue. The WiFi turns off when idle for a time, so that saves the battery too.
It beats the pants off the m125 - I'm really happy with it. For anyone else in the public safety sector, look into buying direct from palm - they offer a 25% discount to first responders - wish I'd known that before I went to Circuit City. ... -

Pros: Loud Headphone Volume, Bright Vivid Display, Great Sound Quality
Cons: Video Lockups, Locks Up Computer, Short Battery Life, Limited Video Controls, Easily Scratched
I got an Apple IPod to watch movies on the train between work and home to find that Videos locked it up every time I tried to view a movie or clip. It locked up my computer often. Music sounds great with lots of headroom. The battery Life is not so good. After 1 hour of listening to music, the battery life had used 50% of it's power. And that's not even using video. How could you expect to watch a 2.5 hour movie on it. After 3 days of disapointment at $399 plus tax, when I took it back, I saw that other people were having the same problem, so instead of getting it replaced with another IPod, I got a full refund. ...
Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T30 Digital Camera
Pros: size, screen, features
Cons: none
While I have only had this camera for a few days, I was able to figure out most of the options and user features without navigating through the User39;s Manual. The screen size is awesome for a camera this compact. This camera makes me wish that I had converted to Digital when the first T series came out. ... ...
