opening was good
why can't sisqo act worth a damn? my ass can act better than him. it was a pretty enjoyable movie, but not worth my $9. bring it on was so much better. vitamin c was really good in the opening and ending credits. wait until it's at the chepie movies. ... -

Better Than The First One
Dare I say it, but yes, this is better than Jagged Little Pill. It's definately more spiritual. I think it's probably a little more personal also. This CD sounds like the mighty Alanis is reciting very emotional poetry. And, I happen to be a fan of poetry. These songs are so wonderful. I don't understand how people say this was a disaster. Larenz! Good Goodness!!!
I give this film a 10. It's so true and honest and everything good. Like an above post, I was angry when she slept with him on the first date. There were times when I was mad at him and at her. They both did some stupid things, but that's how it is. The friends were so true. I know people like that. Isiah Washington was so incredibly sexy as hell as Savon. He was a good man. And, I have so much in common with Shelia. I hang out a lot with my guy cousins, and I don't have many female friends. Every one in this film was extraordinary. And the poem "A Blues For Nina", how sexy is that? ... -

They Hate Me Cause They Ain't Me
This is one of my favorite movies of all time. Yes, there are some racial things that shouldn't be. But, that's the way life is. I'm a black woman, and I didn't like some of things that were done to the white students. But, again, that's how life is. Cole Hauser was superb as Scott. And Michael Rappaport was stupendisly (?) great as Remy. Especially since he was just in Zebrahead, in which he's in love with a black girl. Great acting. And Laurence Fishburn- excellent. I don't know of any words to describe how wonderfully scripted, directed, acted, filmed this piece of work is. I mean, who would ever think to have these varying stories intertwine? Reading these posts, I didn't see one comment about Ving Rhames. He is so freakin' cool as Marcellus. No one could have pulled that off like him. This is so good. I'm sorry, GREAT.
