Alright Album, Might Throw Some Fans For A Loop
Pros: It's a cool album with enough tracks to make the album worth buying
Cons: This album is a bit more serious than his last which might alienate some fans
If you've not followed Ne-Yo then you should have no problems with this album. It has that typical R&B love song type vibe. It does have a mix of slow and faster type songs, but overall if you like the love song type vibe then you'll like this album.
The problem lies if you were a fan of Ne-Yo prior to this album. This album is more "grown up" than his last album so if you're expecting more of the same stuff as his last album you might be a little disappointed at the albums more serious tone. The last album was more fun loving dance to kind of music (not that I like that sort of thing), but his one has a more grown folk type vibe. Sure there are the more laid-back songs that are more true to his past roots, but overall the album has a more serious tone that some prior fans might not necessarily dig. ... -

Definitely A Got To Have Album For True R&B Lovers
1 of 1 Yahoo! Users found this review helpfulPros: It's the same style I've come to love from Musiq
Cons: Still not as good as his first ablum in my opinion.
I've been a fan of Musiq since he first stepped on the scene a few years ago. I have all of his albums and I liked this one a lot. His first album is still the one I like the most, but this one is either the second or tied for second album of his I like. If you have followed this brother's career and music you'll undeniably like this album too. Unlike a lot of musicians who come out with one style then move away from what it was you liked about them Musiq stays true to his roots and delivers the kind of songs his fans have come to expect and love from him. Go out and support this album it's a must have for any true R&B lover. ...

Hot album for R&B lovers.
Pros: Nice selection of tracks.
Cons: None in my opinion.
I have been a Donell Jones fan since Life Goes on and have been waiting on his next album for a while. I went out and scooped this one up and I must say I was definitely not disappointed.
This albums has tracks for everyone who likes this style of R&B. He has something in their that you can dance to, something to share with that special someone, and something that just makes you think. So if you're looking for a polished R&B album that's not about slinging about bling and all that other materialistic crap that's permeated today's R&B then you should definitely buy this album. The song "Cry" is some serious stuff that will make you really think. ...
Not As Good As His 1st Solo Album,But Still Good
Pros: His Lyrics Are On Point
Cons: Could Use Better Beats For Some Tracks
If you're a Styles P fan you'll like, but not love this album. Overall it's a good album, but he needs more good beats for a bit too many tracks. His lyrics are on point, but often times some songs lost me because of the lack of good beats to draw me into the track.
With that being said the highlight of the album is definitely the track "I'm Black". That song is Styles P at his best. If you're a Black/African American you'll definitely be feeling that track on some level. Of course even if you aren't black you can still appreciate the awesomeness of the track. ...
