Linksys Wrt54g2
Pros: Excellent basic router, decent range
Cons: There are better decent G routers out there
Had a Dlink DIR-615 Wireless draft N router. It was pure hell to setup.Was on the phone with tech support for nearly three hours but finally got it setup. But trying to get other devices connected to the network was nearly impossible with calling tech support. I finally decide to replace it the refurb from Newegg Linksys WRT54G2 router. I am completely new to networking so I was dreading the whole setup debacle. Installed the easy wizard CD and followed the setup instructions and WHOLLA I was setup in 5 MINS no tech support at all. Conect all my wireless devices to router without any issues at all. Range was very good, covered a 2000sqt home and all of the front and most of backyard yard effortlessly. Lost a little speed compared to Dlink but a whole nicer product. ...
