Captain Horatio Hornblower (1951 movie)
This movie is a timeless masterpiece. Gregory Peck has accurately captured the personality of Captain Horatio Hornblower as we know him from the history books. He brings to life the war at sea during the Napoleanic Wars.As an amateur historian, I find this movie an inspiring portrayal of the challenges and way of life of the brave seamen who sailed the wooden warships of England.
This movie is a must for those who would like to enjoy a family movie with incredible educational value. ...
