Deserves 5 stars every time
Pros: Great to play to get the day flowing
Cons: Where is her next album?
It makes me sad that someone would give this album a two. If you don't like it that much find another product to review without using such negativity about an artist who in my opinion is overlooked and should be in more people's music collections. This CD was given to me by one of my closest friends. In listening to it I was touched that my friend knew me so well she went out of her way to give it to me even though she lives a few states away. Rachel is so versatile form beautiful ballads to songs with such rhythm it's hard to not want to get up and move. If you like Sarah McLachlan, Dido, Jem, Joss Stone, and any other soulful female artist I highly recommend this CD. Hey, if you can find it at a flea market congratulations you've just saved some money on an amazing album. ...

Jem is a Gem
Pros: Beautifully Put together and Original
Cons: Wish she had more albums out
I first heard "They" on the radio and thought it was such an original song. I purchased the CD mainly because of hearing this song but I also heard some sample clips of all the other tracks and was convinced to make the purchase. Jem's voice is amazing. Sometimes haunting her lyrics can resonate to many for many different deeply personal situations. Though sometimes so simple there is no denying she has a gift. From the lyrics to the instrumental ensembles used uniquely in each song this CD takes my breath away each time I listen to it, and I don't just mean when I try to hit the high notes she so angelically can reach. I was going to give a list of my favorite tracks and then realized that I love them all. "Wish I" and "Just a Ride" fall on the "not my favorite" category but this CD is brilliant regardless. ...

New Found Glory
Pros: Can't say enough good things
Cons: I can't think of any
It took me a long time to connect that I liked Oasis. I have been hearing their songs on the radio for close to a decade now and always knew I enjoyed listening to their songs. I finally put it together that the artist for three of my favorite songs was them. I've been singing along with them on the radio for years. "Wonderwall", "Don't Look Back in Anger", and "Champagne Supernova". It hit me just the other week that if I can sing all the lyrics to each one by heart and be moved by their music I might want to purchase their CD. I am so happy I did! I've been playing it almost non stop since I got it in the mail Saturday. I'm so glad I finally realized my love for this band. I think their resemblance to the Beatles is a good thing. They are their own band as well but how can someone say sounding like the Beatles is a bad thing? ...

Unique Songs
Pros: Great beats to dance to
Cons: Some songs are an acquired taste
I bought this CD after hearing "Feel Good Inc." and before "Dare" was even released on the radio. These are still my favorite songs on the CD. I found that some songs were a little too out there for my taste. However, if you are into unique music that truly is one of a kind I suggest giving Demon Days a try. I don't regret buying it. ...
My Stereo Needs a Rest
Pros: Amazing one of a kind tracks
Cons: Still getting use to some of the tracks
I just purchased this CD. I've been in love with "Seven Nation Army" for awhile now it doesn't get much better than that. I'm risking eviction every time that song starts to play, I can't help turning the volume up really high. "The hardest Button to Button" has an amazing sound to it as well; Another house shaker. Although some lyrics are a bit unsettling I can easily dismiss what jack White is actually referencing when the guitar and piano take hold. Meg White rocks on the drums, which as a girl who herself dreams of playing the drums in a rock band, is totally inspiring to me. This CD is original and hits the heart of what Rock was meant to sound like. ...
