Cons: Need to put the hype aside
Bottom line: inspirational. I've had my head in the sand when it comes to media recently so I wasn't hip to the all the hype -- luckily, that enabled me to read this without the Oprah roller coaster. Now that I know the hype, I still say this was a worthy read that snaps your head back from daily tedium to inner everests. ...

The best part of this camcorder is the image quality -- for a mini DV it is really great.

Fun to play around with

Pretty solid phone
Pros: Easy to use camera; comfortable phone
Cons: Some controls are oddly placed
I've had this phone for quite awhile and I really like it. It is fairly easy to use and doesn't feel flimsy. I don't like where the camera controls are, though, because it doesn't seem intuitive to me. ...

iPod mini fan

Cons: iTunes only; doesn't have an off switch
My husband got me the iPod mini for my birthday and I'm in love all over again. It is just great that I can put all kinds of music in one place effortlessly and play it however I want. The music sounds great and there was almost no learning curve to this device at all. I don't like the fact that it is iTunes only because I don't like to be tied to one service, but that isn't enough to stop me from raving about this little music player. I also like the simple PDA features -- calendar, etc. ...

Still loving our G5
Pros: Beautiful and solid, Mac
Cons: Would love more widely available software
We bought the G5 last January and it's been great. I was originally sceptical because it has been years since I owed a Mac OS computer. But I have been very happy with it. The screen is gorgeous -- well the whole thing is gorgeous. And even though we have a Windows desktop and laptop in the house, everyone gravitates toward the Mac. Three problems we've encountered, though. 1) not enough software out there for Mac OS 2) not a good enough browswer available for the Mac and 3) getting non-Apple hardware to work can be tricky. ...

solid phone, but could be easier to use
Pros: very stable and nice features
Cons: menu system and controls hard to use
I like the look and feel of this phone and it has served me fairly well. Had to send it back once after a hard fall to the ground, but other than that has worked well. However, I do not like the menu system and laptop-like nobby for controls. My next phone will not use controls like this for sure. ...
