And the amazing thing is, it's based on actual events. The series brings you closer to what the soldiers were actually going through at the time. The characters are well developed and you feel as though you've known them forever. A powerful tale about a very important time in our history, told by the men who actually lived it. This would be a great film to share with a high school history class or those who just aren't aware of what the soldiers went through to bring us the freedom we value so much. ...
