Cons: CD-Rom workaround necessary
You can load software, etc. onto a netbook. You either need to network to another computer, or load things on some external storage device. But a netbook only has to have the essentials because it is truly for mobile computing.
The Acer Aspire is fast, wireless ready and even a baby (a man who had very little laptop experience) has adapted and found it very useful.
It's so small, you can take it anywhere, yet the screen resolution is great.
