It's entertainment people
Pros: Interesting and captivating
Cons: Not completely accurate
I personally tire of people complaining that movies are inaccurate or non factual. It's a movie. It entertained many, so mission accomplished. If I want the truth, I'll read several history books and come up with my own opinion anyway. Unfortunately common historical facts are not always factual and just some well educated person's well calculated opinion.
'Elizabeth' was a wonderful movie. It had a wonderful story line, amazing acting, musical score and beautiful scenes. The movie inspired me to actually pick up a book or two and learn what historians have to say about The Virgin Queen. And I have read two that differ in opinion on some details. Yet, they have the same basic story as the movie. So her cousin was beheaded for treason instead of slaughtered in her bed chamber. She is dead none the less. ...
