Power Switch dies within a few months

Cons: Pitiful power switch
Listen to the other reviews. I'm on my second 4100 (this one a 4100"B"), and the power switch has begun to fail exactly like the first modem.
Bottom line: It's a decent modem, and transfer rates are excellent (it knows how to prioritize simultaneous up/downloads VERY well), but definitely USE A POWER STRIP OR INLINE POWER SWITCH instead of the modem's power button. This button is good for 100 or so uses, then begins to fall apart.
Whether this is just bad design, or bean counters got the best of Siemens production team, or psychological warfare to get people to leave their modems on all the time, I don't know. But it must be costing them (and AT&T) a fortune in warranty service. ...
