A Perfect Match
Pros: Murphy's debut is a solid hit.
Cons: Nolte's car is a junker.
Eddie Murphy & Nick Nolte feed off each others acting as they investigate a murder crime in the climate of San Francisco's rolling streets and foggy nights. There's plenty of spunk & wisecracking in Murphy's con. And Nolte's city detective working on instinct to solve the crime makes this film a classic puzzle for them - right up to the final scene. ...
