1 of 1 Yahoo! Users found this review helpful As I watched this movie, I could almost feel the serenity that Miyazaki must have felt when he composed it. It is truly a wonderful film! Please don't expect the fast pace rollercoaster of the Disney animated movies that are being cranked out without attention to detail, but just to sell toys and earn revenue. This movie was created to enchant. It is a different type of animation, but I highly recommend this type of movie as a "breath of fresh air" in this loud and overbearing animation market. I hope it comes out on DVD soon. ... -

WONDERFUL MOVIE! GREAT ACTION!
It's very rare to find a movie that doesn't depend on shocking you with sex and violence to entertain. This movie entertains through comic dialogue and great special effects. The character played by a very young and handsome Kurt Russel is a kind of "John-wayness" type of arrogant tough guy. He does this, of course, with a great amount of tongue in cheek which makes the movie even more enjoyable. Thanks so much for making a movie that the whole family can enjoy, and for proving that a great movie does not need excessive sex and violence. I highly recommend this movie. I wish it was on DVD. ... -

wonderful supernatural read!!
Ghosts upon Ghosts! I thought this would be your typical romance, but it held alot more. It was a truly lovely book. The heroine goes through changes which makes this book almost two books in one. I read the entire book in one evening. A real treat and a real surprise. I hope if you get this, you get the 3D cover version. The cover is almost as delightful as the read itself...almost, but not quite! ...

He sings! He dances! If you love Christopher Walken, this is the movie to get, and you can watch it with the whole family! Christopher plays "Puss" in this movie, and he carries it off with finesse. I remember watching this when I was small, and I loved it then. It even has the mean Ogre in it. The special effects are pretty good for being made way back when. Even after the movie, you'll be singing and humming "the cat song." I highly recommend this movie! ...
