Great Introduction
Pros: Easy to understand, Broad views
Cons: Seemed to come at times from an "orthodox Christian" bias
As a Gnostic Christian, I thought this book was a lot of fun and a fantastic introduction for people who are beginning to explore Gnosticism. This book covers the history of Gnosticism to modern times, their various beliefs, practices, and their writings. The one minor downside was that at times it seemed the author let his own view from the "orthodox" Christianity taint some of his opinions. This was very minor though. ...

I was very excited when I found out that Loreena Mckennitt's new CD was coming out. I must say that while I enjoyed the Middle Eastern sounds that reminded me of her Mask and the Mirror album, I was also disappointed in that this new CD sounded very much like her other songs so that I grew board of it rather quickly ...
