Most innovative and fun console EVER!
49 of 57 Yahoo! Users found this review helpfulPros: Controller, games, quiet, small. affordable
Cons: Graphics
I'll start off saying I bought the wii on launch day and so far am more than satisfied with it. Yes, the graphics are not next gen, they are slightly better than xbox but, with time will probably find a medium between xbox and 360 graphics. Then, again if you bought it, you know you get fun and innovation, not a supercomputer as nintendo is trying to prove is better. I couldn't agree more. I have Red Steel, Zelda, Madden, and Call of duty 3. So far I think they have pretty much nailed it. The only game I have a problem with is Red Steel, the aiming system is difficult. The controller is great for any FPS, the precision is excellent. I have never felt more immursed in an FPS. Same with Zelda, I feel as if I am actually Link at times swinging my sword. Not only is it great for hardcore gamers but, also for the whole family. My dad is now playing games for the 1st time since SNES. Wii sports is fun for everybody and so is a game like Madden. Nintendo WIFI isnt up yet but will be soon. Next years line up looks unbelievable. Super Mario Galaxy, Metroid Prime 3, Smash Brothers Brawl with online play. Lastly, its only $250 and is so quiet you will never even know its there. If you want the most fun out of your games, go with the wii. ...

Cons: none
If you Xbox 360 is too expensive and you dont have this yet, buy it. It is the best out of all the systems. I own GC PS2 and this and I loved this 3x more than the other two. It amazed every time I got a new game. ...

Best system around.
0 of 1 Yahoo! Users found this review helpfulPros: Great graphics, HD output, fast gameplay, xbox live
Cons: Not that many good games yet, hard to find.
The Xbox 360 is by far the best console available for the next generation. It is way better than PS3. Tests have been run and the 360 came out on top. Perfect Dark Zero, Call of Duty 2, Project Racing 3, and Madden 2006 all are really fun. The graphics are unbelievable and will get better (Gears of War!). The only cons are that you need an HDTV to get the most out of it but the graphics really look alot better in HD and that it is hard to come by. I reserved mine back in July and didnt get it till 1 month after release. Its not too expensive either, $400 isnt that much and PS3 may be between $400-$600 so this is worth it. ...
A gaming supercomputer!
36 of 46 Yahoo! Users found this review helpfulPros: 2007 games, graphics, blu ray, 60 gb hard drive, free online, wifi built in
Cons: SIXAXIS has no rumble, not many exclusive games
The PS3, its been hailed as the most powerful next gen system. As of right now, I'm not sure but, I could be proven wrong. This is an unbiased review as I own all three next gen systems. Starting with the good, the graphics so far are looking great with 1080p output, it definitely is no comparison to 1080i. A blu ray disc drive will give developers more space to work with than they will ever need. 50 GB! That means huge worlds with room for things never even dreamed of in game. The online system is free but not as good as live and you can't go wrong with built in 802.11 b/g wifi. Also, the hard drive is 60 gb, much bigger than 360's. This makes the ps3 a better system in your family room. You can center everything around it. It'll hold everything you need. Now the bad. The SIXAXIS controller has no rumble a bad mistake. Im also gonna add that it is a bit gimmicky, its there but doesnt really add to the games. On the game part, its got Resistance right now which is great but, many games are going to 360 as ps3 is hard to develop for. Assasins Creed and gta are no longer exclusive and Ive heard Metal Gear might go to 360. So far I think 360 has better graphics (Gears of War) and a better game line up. Ps3 has a great line up too though, Heavenly Sword, MGS4, GT5. Its got potential and it is a must buy for the hard core gamer looking for a gaming powerhouse. ...
