Black on Both Sides
Pros: Mos Def is at the tip of the rap game
Cons: Not enough tracks
This album is ostensibly one of the best that I own. Mos Def is socially conscious, quick witted, and lyrically superior to most emcees. Black on Both Sides is indicative of the rappers Native Tongue roots. If you are a fan of intelligent rap music BUY THIS ALBUM. It is worth whatever you pay. Pay particular attention to Umi Says, New World Water, and Ms. Fat Booty. ...
