Definitely not another “kill.switch” clone.
1 of 1 Yahoo! Users found this review helpfulPros: graphics, story, gameplay, controls
Cons: way to dark in some levels, the final boss fells like it is just another fight because there is no real background element to him
I really thought that this might end up being a “Kill.switch” clone because of the focus on the cover element of the game. It was king of refreshing to see that it wasn’t. As a matter of fact, I found the game to be one that I couldn’t put down. The storyline was solid, except I would have loved to have seen more involvement and background of Raam. The graphics were great, however there were times that I would have loved a little more light. The controls were simple and easy felt natural. The cutsceens and voice acting were top notch. And, there is a high replay value in the game. Single player, campaign co-op via X-Box Live and split-screen, and a very solid multiplayer. This is definitely a must have for X-Box 360 owners. ...

The best Marvel has to date.
1 of 1 Yahoo! Users found this review helpfulPros: Very little not to like
Cons: Having to pay via Microsoft points for playable characters that should have been included.
The is the cream of the crop when it comes to superhero games. Marvel packed the game with characters from the Marvel universe, so you are sure to have a team that you enjoy. The storyline moves smoothly and the game gives a sense of an epic adventure. The upgrading system works without a hitch and there is a huge re=play value to the game. ...

Really should be $20 instead of $40
1 of 1 Yahoo! Users found this review helpfulPros: Fun for the first two minutes.
Cons: Bad graphic, very repetitive, mindless gaming, feels hurried and unfinished.
The game is shoddy at best. The first thing that you will notice is that the graphics are not up to par with it’s counterparts on the X-Box 360. The running movement of your character looks like it is being manipulated by a martinet puppeteer. The movement of the rest of the “force” is even worse at times and they have a tendency to become stuck in the environment. Shooting giant ants and being able to blow up buildings with a rocket launcher is fun at first, but after a few minutes of it, I got bored really quick. The difficulty tamp in the game is horrid. You can go from killing giant ants with one shot to having to hit a giant robot with twenty or so rockets. If you don’t load-out with the right equipment, you are doomed to fail in various missions. Overall the game feels hurried and unfinished. If you want mindless action, this is the game for you. I would recommend renting it instead of buying it though. ...

What a great DVD!
1 of 1 Yahoo! Users found this review helpfulPros: Great acting, supurb story
Cons: no English voice-overs.
Finally, a movie that is original with a story that is captivating and wanting more. To be honest, I wasn’t expecting much other than to just set back and “read” a movie, but I was pleasantly surprised at how freely the story flowed and about how deep the character involvement was. This is a must see for any movie fan that is wanting to get away from the cheesy blue-screen action flicks, over done mushy romance, or way to “kiddy” movies. It is also family friendly (except to those that can‘t speak Spanish or read). ...

Better than before....
1 of 2 Yahoo! Users found this review helpfulPros: all of the problems in previous Spiderman games have been fixed
Cons: bad camera controls and to dark when Spiderman is indoors
I just want to say that nothing can ruin a game more that when the graphic are to dark to see where you are going or what you are doing. Spiderman 3 has this problem in most of it’s indoor sequences. However, the game does improve on all of the problems that it’s predecessors had, with the exception of the camera). This time around you can see the mission markers from anywhere and you actually need buildings nearby to swing. The villains are fun to play against and the black suit adds an awesome new element of play. The city feels larger and there is a larger variety of things to do than there was in the previous two. Even with the improvements, I still had a “been here, done this” feeling while playing it. ...

They finally went back to making them right.
3 of 3 Yahoo! Users found this review helpfulPros: the game is engaging and fun
Cons: the battles get mundane after a while
I normally don’t care for Pokemon games. Especially after the Rescue Team games and Pokemon Ranger. Diamond and Peril went back to the formula that made the Pokemon trade so popular. The game is fun and find a comfortable difficulty that doesn’t fend off casual gamers while allowing the Pokemon pros their thrills, even though the pokemon battles can tend to get very distracting and monotonous at times. The Nintendo WiFi trading feature is also pretty cool. However, it seems like in the early stages of it people are getting a little nutty by trying to pawn off average level five pokemon in trade for level 100 hard to find pokemon. I hope that trend ends soon because it really distracts from one of the games great features. The game does have a lot of replay value and is well worth the time that you will put in to it. ...

Who would have thought?
1 of 1 Yahoo! Users found this review helpfulPros: graphics, fun, controls
Cons: gets a little to childish at times
I was kind of taken by surprise with this game. Since my daughter wanted it because of the television show that is based on the game, I was sure that it would be to childish to enjoy. I was kind of shocked to find an extremely addictive “Sims”-type game that didn’t bore me into wishing that my console would explode so that something exciting would happen. Even though the “romance dance” mini-game gets mundane at times, it doesn’t interfere with the flow and style of the game. I don’t know, the idea of mating piñatas is a little creepy anyway. However, if you want an overall fun game that will keep your interest and deliver some good laughs, “Viva Piñata” is the game that you are looking for. ...

Lost in translation
1 of 1 Yahoo! Users found this review helpfulPros: Halo 3 Beta
Cons: the Crackdown game
I know that a lot of people are going crazy over this game, but it left me scratching my head wondering what they see in it. One good thing about it, the invitation to “Halo 3” Beta. ...

What a great game.
Pros: graphics, control, storyline
Cons: highlighting enemy weak points
This game delivered tons of fun and an exciting story. The only real flaw with the game was the glowing weak points of all of the creatures. It kind of took away the achievement feeling of blowing away the big boys. The scale of the game feels epic and the multiplayer is comparable to Halo 2. I highly recommend this game. ...

Stick with 'Gun' if you want a Western shooter
0 of 1 Yahoo! Users found this review helpfulPros: an attempt at being something different
Cons: the rest of the game
The game just doesn’t feel finished. The graphics are not up to standard with next-gen (now current-gen) gaming. Even though the concept is great, the story moves so slowly that it is easy to lose interest. The controls feel unnatural for a FPS. The object movement scheme is terrible and ruins the illusion of the game. The voice acting is completely annoying. Overall, the game had tremendous potential, but Ubisoft really let it down. For now, the best western shooter is still ‘GUN’ because ‘Call of Juarez’ is simply below standard. ...
