Excellent DVD

The 16X9 anamorphic picture is very sharp. There are some scenes that made me wonder how a high def version of this film would be any better. The DTS sound track is excellent with good bass extensions. The surround sound was mostly atmospheric with some strong surround effects. This is not the type of movie that requires sound coming from all around you. There was a slight pop during the credits just before you know who starts to sing. I did not listen to the DD sound track. I usually opt for DTS if available and DD only if there is no other choice. I only viewed a few of the features. The alternate ending and the deleted scenes were actually very interesting. ...
