Great player with lots of useful features

Cons: Slow boot up time, horrible UI
This is possibly the most feature rich player in the market ... and all the features are useable.
Pros
1. USB-Host: You are carrying a 20gb hard drive. It should be able to do more than just play music. With USB-Host you connect your camera and download the photos. The biggest problem with this feature on the 925GS is the UI. You can only transfer one file at a time. One caveat to make this work is you have to set the USB mode on the camera to USB-PTP (at least that was the case on my Sony DSC P71)
2. Promises to plays subscription based services like the new Yahoo! Music Unlimited. (I am a big fan of all things Yahoo)
3. Battery life is quite okay
4. Device interface is great with buttons at the right place and no funky touch business.
5. One and only useful feature of the software UI is the next song scroller at the bottom of the now playing screen.
6. Line in recording
7. Voice memos
Cons:
1. Horrible UI. Unintuitive and slow.
2. Boot up is slow because tries to read the library, etc. Hopefully they will fix it in a firmware upgrade.
3. No useful desktop software. So syncing is not possible. You cannot create playlists without using Napster.
4. No FM
5. Non-standard USB cable
6. USB cable and charging cable in one split cable ...
