Acer didn't get me a second time

Acer didn't get me a second time. I've had a decent buy from them before. I've also been burned previously by Acer. The last time was an L100 with a major (faulty design) heat problem. Thought at first a software bug. Then discovered it was a design flaw. Acer basically ignored all of us who bought that puppy. At first, the travelmate seemed like a good buy. Then, it had problems. This time when I had problems getting the travelmate c303xmi to function like the demo in the store after a few days, I quickly contacted acer. The response was poor and difficult. I got deja vu. I returned the machine within the time allowed by the retailer. Maybe it was just an isolated experience with this model, but I had been burned before. In short, the travelmate would simply shut down in the middle of operation. After giving it a few hours, it would work again for a few hours, then repeat. Based on my previous experience, I became too nervous to hold on to it. ...
