18 & Life you got it
Pros: Excellent Album
Cons: None
Skid Row is without a doubt one of my favorite bands of all time. It's very unfortunate that many mainstream critics sees them as an 80s glam/hair metal band but they are much more talented than a lot of bands that got lumped in that genre such as Poison, Bon Jovi, Warrant, etc. They can describe them whatever they want. It's the music that really counts. There's not even one bad song on this album. Sebastion Bach is a really cool vocalist and blows away the majority singers out there. Every fan of 80s Rock/Metal should definitely own this album. ...

Great Comeback Album.
1 of 1 Yahoo! Users found this review helpful I just went a ahead and bought this album. It's cool Bruce Dickenson is back. There are a couple of songs that could of been better. Bruce sounds just amazing as he was and drums and guitar solos are cool. This is what metal is all about. Iron Maiden is still one of my favorite metal bands ever. This album proves they still help satisfy musiclovers who knows great music.
P.S. To those who hate this band and rather listen to Limp Dick and all those stupid crappy nu metal, here's a message for you: you know nothing about decent music and just proves you're just ignorant and got brainwashed. ... -

A Real letdown
Whitesnake is a great band. I like most of their stuff. It has a few good songs. But this album is mediocre. It's not as powerful or catchy as the 1987 self-titled since guitars aren't as heavy. They have misused Steve Vai on guitars filing in for Adrian Vandenberg. They should of pick a better guitarist enough time to make it strong. Steve Vai is a great musician but this album didn't work out. Recommended for die fans. ... -

Whitesnake's Best Album
Awesome! This album is very fast and very heavy. Most of Whitesnake's material were mainly bluesy hard rock. But this one has most of the songs on here are Heavy Metal due to guitar playing styles of John Skyes and Adrian Vandenberg. From melodic rock ballad "Is this Love?" and hard rocking "Here I go again" and "Don't turn away" to Heavy tracks "Bad Boys", "Still in the Night", and "Crying in the rain", this is easily their best. This is also their most commercially successful album. Guitars riffs and solos are ferociously fast and heavy makes this the classic rock/metal album. ... -

I like Van Halen but not this one.
Van Halen is a great talented band. It's better to see them live then hearing on CD or radio. First, Sammy Hagar is a great singer and I even like his solo stuff and some of the songs he did with Van Halen. But some of the songs just doesn't sound that good live when Sammy Hagar is singing the ones sang by David Lee Roth. They should of released a separate live album with David Lee Roth 18 years ago. It would of been better if they released the ones sang strict by Sammy Hagar. Unless you are a die hard Van Halen fan no matter who sings which then this is for you. For Die Hard fans only. ... -

Excellent Metal Live album!
Awesome! If you really like to know how talented Randy Rhoads is, you should buy and own this album since he even plays and sounds much better live than in studio. Without a doubt, Randy is even better and blows away the almighty Eddie Van Halen off the stage. During the late 70s/early 80s, Randy Rhoads was one of the only few guitarist to create his own signature style while other guitarist tries to copy Eddie Van Halen guitar style. This is a must have for any guitar enthusiasts. I have heard "Speak of the Devil" and heard every song on that live album. It was good which was mainly Black Sabbath covers. But I like this live album even better since it has Randy Rhoads blazing his guitar so good. Ozzy and Randy were great partners for making great music. Buy this album along with "Kiss: Alive", one of Yngwie Malmsteen albums, and "Experience Hendrix: The Best of Jimi Hendrix". It will guarantee that you will be amazed. ... -

I'm glad this 2002 reissue has been restored in its original version unlike the garbage done to the recent recordings of "Blizzard of Ozz", "Diary of a Madman", and "Bark at the Moon". Buy this album along with "Kiss: Alive", one of Yngwie Malmsteen albums, and "Experience Hendrix: The Best of Jimi Hendrix". It will guarantee that you will be amazed. ... -

More Cash greediness for Selloutica
3 of 5 Yahoo! Users found this review helpful I liked these guys and their music in the 80s. They were metal legends in the 80s. I used to liked the Black album but now it sucked and good thing I never bought that album. I totally quit buying their newer stuff since the Black Album came out and no longer cared for them since Load came. Face it, "And Justice for All" is the last good Metallica album. After that, they went downhill since they changed their sound for more commericial success and the Black Album has lots of filler bullsh1t which they later become way overrated and it means they quickly sold out. Anything after "And Justice for all" are nothing but Mediocre. So, if you like metal then buy only their first 4 albums. This album is more mallcore nu metal than anything they have done with no solos. This is not any better than the Black album, Load, Reload, Garage Inc. or S&M. In fact, it's just as worse those albums. Face it, they said they went back to their roots unfornately they weren't trying. They are now a marketing icon of the MTV sellout outfit. I don't blame Newstead for leaving the band. The band has lost their edge and their souls since the Black album came out. Sure, those of you old fans that likes their newer stuff and including younger and newer fans thinking I'm bullsh1ting that's fine. So, grow up they are not legends anymore. And grow some balls if you have a poor taste in music. Metallica is Dead face it. They sold out. It's time to move on. ... -

Great Action-Thrilled Horror film
This is one of Arnold Schwarzeneggers great films. Forget Spellbinder. That Movie sucked. Unlike that film this one had a better storyline and plot. The Ending should of been better. Its a great film. Buy this on DVD only if the Fullscreen version is availble. Otherwise, stick with the VHS version. ...

Awesome and another masterpiece
Pros: Every song will make you rock & thrash til you drop
Cons: There are no cons
This sophomore album is even heavier and thrashier than their debut. It is just as good as their debut. Sebastian Bach is really kicking a$$ on this on album. This was the first heavy metal album of the 90s that went all the way to #1 before other 90s bands such as Guns N' Roses and Metallica had number their #1 album. I don't know why it fell off the charts and didn't sell as well as the first one but it did achieve multi-platinum status which is cool thing. My favorite songs on this album are Monkey Business, Title Track, Quicksand Jesus, In the Darkened Room, Wasted Time, Break Down, Riot Act, and The threat. They should of added the song Beggar's Day on the Explicit Version instead of the leaving it only on the edited version otherwise it would have been really perfect. Again, there's not even one bad song on this album. A great addition to your rock/metal collection. ...
