My first Canon

Cons: Soft colors, soft picture, in auto cannot use my colors
I had a C300 Olympus for quite a while and i am still happy and wanted to upgrade to higher spec model and so i have choosen the Canon A700. When i bought it the pictures on LCD looked good and i was happy. When i downloaded my pictures on the PC the pictures on screen looked very soft in sharpness and color was dull. Trees foliage need a lot of sharpening from pc and come good. To improve picture need to go away from auto into aperture priority and scale up the saturation and sharpness. There are artefacts quite visible in roof tiles. Exposure is rather dark. To get correct focus need to go manual focus but cannot see the LCD in daylight, so...! I called Canon support and said that i should take it back for a replacement so i took it back to the store and im still waiting for the decision of the store keeper...! ...

Cons: sound a little normal
U cannot believe how good the picture of this tv is. Really breathtaking. The sound lets u a little down but on the other hand dont expect the boxy sound of the old crt tvs with their big enclosures. Pictures and controls are plenty. The blacks are wonderful, the colors fascinating. Ease of use and beatyful. Sony right on the spot with this tv. ...
