The 48 hour Digital Controller features 2 time, 2 temperature controls to simplify the drying process . Temperature can be set from 95 degrees F to 165 degrees F . After loading food onto the trays, set the dehydrator at a higher temperature for a specified period of time for the initial dehydration process; and then set the dehydrator at a lower temperature for a specified period of time for longer cooking . The unit automatically adjusts after the 1st setting and turns off when the 2nd setting is complete . The 3948CDB is the perfect way to make wholesome snacks for you family .
