    Kill Switch & Cheat Codes

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Oct 5, 2006

    Pros: Great Action

    Cons: No Level Select

This is basically a great game. I would like to have some cheat codes to this game. Sometimes in this game it is almost impossible to survive with so many enemy shooting at you and to compound this, when the mission is a "timed one" it makes it even tougher! I think that a "god mode" cheat ot level select or infinite ammo cheat would make this game a lot more fun!

Kill.Switch, one of the best yet?!?

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Nov 16, 2003

    Pros: Really awesome graphics

Cons: It's not very long, I can beat it in a couple of days

This game is just AWESOME!!!! Everyone should buy it. I love all the ducking, covering, diving, shooting, all the types of guns, the gernade throwing, and the game is actually a challenge. I didn't think that it would be this good but it is. This game rocks. I have to say this was one of my favorite games I've ever played. And the graphics amazing. The only bad thing is that the game is too short and it is a pretty challenging game. Well I hope all of you go out and buy it.

    Kill.Switch, one of the best?!?

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Nov 16, 2003

Pros: This is probably the best game to come out this year.

Cons: There really isn;t that many bad things about this game but it is an advanced players game. NO AMATUERS.

This game is really awesome. Their is very cool levels with some of the best graphics I have seen. If you like shoot em' up games then this is the game for you but some younger kids could play it too because there's not that much blood. But there is intense violence and strong language. Well overall this is a very good game, one of the best i've ever seen. If you like it as much as me you can go to killswitch.com and join the killswitch army. Say that JackTheRipper referred you.

    Kill.Switch ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

p.s. you really should buy it.

    kill.switch Review -by { Clan . Killaz }

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Nov 13, 2003

    Pros: Game >HTTP://RFCK.VZE.COM

At first, NAMCO's new kill.switch appears to be another standard military-style FPS. If you've played either Splinter Cell or Metal Gear Solid, then you probably know what I'm talking about. When you first play the game, however, you will begin to realize that this game is far from "ordinary." The series of brief dialogue-sequences between each mission will come to make the player realize that there is something fishy about the main- character's situation, and that you are really plugged into some kind of network that controls you. As the game unfolds so does the plot and the background and situation of the main character is purposely left unclear. The first thing to become clear is that purpose this supersoldier's actions, governed by his neural-link to an unknown place are hostile, intended as a first step in stirring up a world war, meaning that you're actually the bad guy.
Running around nonstop and wreaking havoc, as seems to be the theme of many FPS's, does not seem to be gameplay make-up here, as there IS (for once) strategy involved in beating the levels. Perhaps the most distinguishing element between kill.switch and normal first or third person shooters is the newly designed Blindfire system. What this means is that your character, if bombarded by heavy fire from multiple enemies or a turret, can take cover behind an object, point his gun out over the object and without looking fire "blindy" in the general direction of the threat. This technique, however, can be used effectively for suppresive fire only, since it is very inaccurate. Once in cover the player can choose either to use the blindfire technique, or for more accurate and precise shooting lean out over the object and take careful aim before letting loose. Why use the inaccurate blindfire technique when you can just as easily lean out and aim? Leaning out of cover makes you susceptible to enemy fire, while blindfire does not. Keep in mind that enemies can make use of these same techniques as well. As the game is designed to provide as many objects for cover as possible, you will never be left out in the middle of an intense gunfight with no place to run. There are approximately ten guns and four grenades in kill.switch to choose from.
Graphics in kill.switch are average but are, and are certainly not lacking. The audio is especially good, with satisfying menu sounds and enjoyable gameplay SFX. Controls are complicated but well thought out- it should take you about 10-15 minutes to master in Training mode. Guns range from assault rifle to grenade launcher to shotgun to sniper rifle. The only criticisms I have for this game is the fact that gun-names are NOT displayed on the HUD while switching weapons, and that the pictures they do show briefly can be somewhat hard to distinguish to the untrained eye. 2 Player would be nice, but it might be asking too much, and 1 Player is good enough for me while it lasts. NAMCO's kill.switch is otherwise an extremely enjoyable experience varying from the traditional shooter. If you are looking for a new action game of its type I would highly recommend that you purchase it. And remember, Take Cover, Take Aim, Take Over!

    THIS IS KILL SWITCH

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Nov 12, 2003

    Pros: Cover and Blind Fire

    Cons: Short

Overall this is definitely a great game. The only negative comments that i would make about this game would be occasionally the camera angle can be blocked by some obstruction and that i wish the game was a little longer. Other than this the game is just brilliant. I quickly adapted to the controls for this game and after a while i was running and gunning, covering and blasting, and mastering every moves of the game. The game was difficult on normal mode, which means hard mode should be very interesting and challenging. As i progressed through the levels i started to get the hang of a few tricks, but that was proved wrong when i found a few enemies with sniper rifles and rocket launchers all in the same group. Definitely a great game and looking forward to a sequel...

    killswitch ps2 ed,

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Nov 10, 2003

Pros: easy to use controls, excellent gameplay

    Cons: newbies will die

    i love this game!
that being said, i found that the duck and cover while firing blindly doesnt get boring. this tactic not only saves ur butt more than once, but become necessary in some missions.
i can see the devlopment took the time to make sure all the wepons work and the movents are smooth. i like the fact that my guns have to reload and arent like some titles where the default gun doesnt have to reload. Also the game make u think and gets harder as u progress, which is cool.

    Pros: Great action

    Cons: Gameplay too short

This is quite a fun "urban warfare" game. The gameplay is great, and the storyline and graphics are quite good. The A.I. is rather engaging as well. Definitely recommended for those who like great shooter action!

    Quite a sleeper hit!

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Oct 29, 2003 | 4 out of 5 found this kill.switch review helpful

Pros: Fast action, amazing AI, wonderful story...

Cons: Very little replay value...hard gave me a challenge tho.

I would have to say that this game was a very lucky purchase. I was worried when I picked it up that it would not be that much fun, but it really is!! I can't tell you how cool the AI is. Hearing them try to yell at eachother to flank you and charge you, etc...its a bunch of fun. I did beat the game on normal mode in two days...but hard mode has me dying a lot. Also the grenade throwing is SICK! I just love seeing the AI dive away from my grenades as I pop out of cover and blast em. My vote...check this game out!

Oh yeah...and the sound is so damn cool when I turn up my SUB!
