Pros: Great sound, music videos, features, bonus CD and value.

Cons: It could use a more complete track listing of the DVD

John Oates and the backing band Little Blue do a top-notch show in this sold-out concert at the Historic Wheeler Opera House in Colorado. Don't expect a high-tech light show though, they used only one camera and made the decision to tape the sho...w at the last minute. That's where my three stars go as far as the picture is concerned. The rest of the disc is 5 stars.John sings Hall & Oates standards like "She's Gone" and other songs from his solo album "Phunk Shui". Little Blue contributes with one of their own songs called "Straight To The Moon". Most of the songs have an acoustic flavor to them.On the bonus CD, we're treated to the songs from the live show plus Oates' rendition of "Forever For You" and "Sara Smile".Other features of the DVD include three music videos. My money is on "It Girl" to be on VH-1 soon. It stars Paris Hilton and she's perfect for the part. Also included are "Color of Love" done from Jed Lieber's rooftop in Los Angeles and "Little Angel" dedicated to John's wife Aimee and his son Tanner. Telemark made a ski video with John Oates, and it's included here also. The making of the "Phunk Shui" album is included also.Overall, it's a great value for the money (Less than $15 for a DVD and CD). Read more Less
