    Awesome Performance

Pros: Compact, easy to use, never skips, battery life

Cons: No belt clip, arm band is tiny (only fits small women)

I've had the iRiver 790 for over a month and it continues to work flawlessly! It is very easy to setup and has very intuitive controls. The battery life is excellent and it uses a standard AA so replacement is simple. My only problem is the la...ck of a belt clip. The arm band is designed for small women, and since I'm a large male I can't use it. I wish it had a belt clip. Still, I highly recommend this MP3 player -- it makes up for it in performance and style! Read more Less

    Fine little on-the-go player/radio/recorder..

Pros: Fast transfer speed, price, performance, practicality

    Cons: minor whines only

Hey, just picked up the 'iFP-790T' and so far it performs as expected and as specified. I was looking for a higher quality, lightweight player with FM radio and good functionality. I exercise alot and need only 3 hours or so worth of playba...ck, also, when down on the beach or making short road-trips. The 256mb is sufficient.Regarding "Other Peoples Criticism" of the case and strap design, sure it could have been of better dimensions for bigger arms (would probably fit 70% of arms), or included a waste clip, but c'mon folks, these can be satisfied very easily...If you can make or find a plain arm band (velcro or otherwise) which can fit your arm, the protective case will mate well to this. Also, to the person who didn't know what to do and where to put this little player when lifting weights, did you not also receive the around the neck strap/clip-on? Just clip the thing (or let hang) right onto your back shirt up around the neck? Maybe you didn't get the strap.Anyway, one other small handy trick and secret for you shoppers today (not sure how much longer they will sell it), is to check out Buydig as vendor and see if they still sell a 'Powerhaus electric toothbrush with recharchgeable batteries and charger kit.' Along with a pretty fair base price for player unit (and free shipping), I found that this toothbrush kit includes the same AA recharging system which you could buy separately for the iriver, but for about $15 savings!! Plus an electric toothbrush!! LoL!I know this probably sounded like a commericial, but i was only a happy customer (so far) on this one. Cheers, Read more Less
