The creation of iFP-180T was focused on the realization of great sound quality evolved from the initial hardware design and software application. We recommend iFP-180T for all users who want to experience superior sound. Adding to the player's superior sound quality is Sennheiser MX300; the combination results in an enhanced sound quality beyond your imagination.

The iFP-180T also supports FM Tuner and FM Recording as well as Differentiated Voice Recording With AGC which makes it possible to control the noise level of environment and to enhance the input level of targeted voice recording source. Experience the different levels of voice recording at meetings or in school.

You can catch all the information you need on 4-Line LCD. The iFP-180T supports up to 8 levels of sub-folder, recognizes maximum 100 folders and 255 files. You can navigate the iFP-180T as you navigate your PC.

It also has customized playlists and 6 EQs. You just decide the sequence of the music and iRiver makes it possible to have your own playlists through programming mode. And iFP-180T supports 5 preset EQs (Normal, Rock, Jazz, Classic, UltraBass) and 1 user defined EQ.

The iFP-180T only weighs 32g, and is easy to carry around. It can be used as a storage device.

    I looked at many 128 Mb MP3 players, and this was by far the best in my opinion. The only drawback is that it is doesn't have an expansion slot, but in the end, I decided that other features were more important - besides, 128 Mb really is quite ...enough for most people. Plus, transferring files with the iRiver management software is super easy, so if you want different music it only takes a few minutes max! The folder system is set up so that you can easily access any song or any directory you wany. This player is PACKED full of features that other players can only dream of having. Although it's one of the most expensive 128 Mb players, it's also the most worth it. I would not hesitate to make the same decision again. Read more Less

    Pros: Lots of hardware features, compact, easy to use.

    Cons: Poor software, and no 3rd party compatibility.

    *V* I'll simply post my email to iRiver below *V* I just purchased the 180T unit you produce and have to say, I love using it as a portable player but... The software really sucks! iRiver Manager needs some serious work! 1. Everytime you play..., delete or maniuplate a song file in the manager, it resets you to the top of the file index... No active memory. 2. I cannot make heads or tails of what songs are in what order, the new software (which I have) is supposed to allow changes in the play order but I've yet to find it. 3. No genre, alblum or artist info?? What on earth was your development team thinking? I am reduced to sorting through and renaming all my files so that they are in any recognizable order. Anyway, I really hope you guys get this fixed... I spent the extra $40 for your equipment, and would love to see that redeemed in the future. Read more Less

    The 190T comes with double the memory of previous flash models--and is attractively priced, too.At $199 and packed with 256MB of internal memory, this IRiver is the first flash player we've seen to come in at a price that's less than $1 per megabyte of storage. The player's sleek, tapered design makes it suitable for a pocket or for wearing around your neck as a pendant. Its tiny navigation joystick takes a little getting used to; once you get the hang of it, however, moving between folders and tracks is a breeze. Depending on how you move it, the joystick guides you through tracks, playback menu options, and volume control. The device has a wide selection of custom playback options (for example, you can control how quickly the unit scans through songs). And music sounded excellent through the included Sennheiser earpiece headphones. Read more

    Though tiny and almost jewel-like, the iFP-180T is packed with features, most of which are useful, and some, like the FM radio and voice recorder, might be essential. The basics are relatively easy to master, and the sound quality is excellent.
