Monitor traffic tie-ups with the addition of an optional traffic receiver. In select metro areas, with the addition of the GTM 20 FM TMC traffic receiver, the SteetPilot c530 notifies you of accidents, road construction, and weather-related traffic delays before they are encountered, and then offers an alternate route. Simply touch the screen icon to calculate a new route.

The c530 comes with preloaded maps and includes automatic routing, 2D or 3D map perspective, and turn-by-turn voice directions that speak street names - making navigation easy. It also accepts customized points of interest (POIs) such as school zones and safety cameras.

Optional software available on plug-in SD cards, lets you instantly add new features to your c530 - without connecting to your computer.

    Pros: ease of use, preprogrammed, fits nicely on my window

    Cons: I can't change the voice.

    My husband has a Garmin 2720. I liked the C530 because it was smaller and fit nicely on my windshield. The battery lasts a long time so I don't have to have wires hanging down. I love that it marks the place I am and I can add it quickly to my fa...vorites. I picked the lowest price online and got a great deal. Certified Digital had it to me in two days with no additional cost. My first on-line shopping experience was great. Read more Less

    Pros: This GPS is quite accurate and works well

    Cons: It does NOT speak street names

    The Yahoo Shopping description says it speaks street names but it does NOT. Unfortunately for me, I bought this specific unit based upon the fact that is did speak street names only to find that the description was incorrect.
