We have been spoiled when we go to an Italian restaurant and we get freshly grated cheese. Years ago we purchased our own grater and have found it quite nice to be able to grate our own fresh hard cheeses. The Zyliss was purchased on a whim. It looke...d good in the package and we had just broken another of our graters. The Zyliss 11355 grater comes with two grates... one for hard cheeses and the other for soft cheeses. The cheese bin is one of the larger I have seen and the grater works smoothly. Applying pressure on the cheese bin while grating produces plenty of cheese. The funnel directs the cheese on the plate rather than just on the table. The fact that the handle folds into the grater makes it easier to store. If you want a quality unit that is upper rack dishwasher safe I definitely recommend the Zyliss 11355!
