Pros: Good plot, family fun movie. Love the theme song "Zorro is Back"

I was a little girl the first time I saw this movie. I would watch the movie everytime it aired. Alain Delon is an exceptional actor. The chemistry between Alain Delon and Stanley Baker was so believable and I recommend this version than the version ...with Antonio Banderas. Pros: Great Zorro movie

Cons: Poor picture quality & various edits

Anyone who's seen this version of the tale of Zorro can tell you that it's a fun movie with a spectacular swordfight at the finish. The only let down is the quality of the film has unfortunately deteriorated. It's certainly not unwatchabl...e, but audio & visual crispness is pretty much nonexistant. The true dissappointment is the sloppy editing job. My only guess is some of the film deteriorated to the point of no return and was completely removed from this edit which results in a sometimes jumpy narrative. An excellent movie. Has a better plot than Mask of Zorro, althought the dialogue is a bit cheesy at times. Ends with one of the best filmed sword fights I've ever seen.
