London-based pianist and RB enthusiast Zoot Money (real name George Bruno) put together this combo in 1964, and for a time achieved notable success on the club circuit, before he and lead guitarist Andy Summers gave up the Big Roll Band to join one of the later line-ups of the Animals, during their psychedelic era. Money also played on the Animals' 1983 reunion tour and the accompanying album.
