Pros: lyrics are awesome!

Cons: about 1% of the music is "eh"

Well, I've been listening to hip hip for a while now, and I have been a fan of Cena's because of watching WWE. When I first heard about him coming out with a CD, I was like "Hmm..." but when I got it in the mail and listened to it I... was really suprised! It's really good! He has some really good rhymes, along with Tha Trademarc. I think he has a lot of potential! If you really understood the passion Cena has for hip hip music, I think you would like the CD more! I read somewhere that he thinks of it as a culture and respects it, and that statement is deep! He's just an amazing person, so maybe if you knew more about him, some people would like the CD a lot more. He has some hot rhymes, like #4 "Right Now" and #17 "If It All Ended Tomorrow" are great songs! I think more people should have a chance to listen to it and understand the points he tries to get through in each song! But like I said, I personally think the CD is phenomenal! Ok. I admit when cena first came out, I was cool with him when he was doing the simple little freesytles, but as his career progressed and he started to wear a lock around his neck and sport a spinning belt. It seemed like he was trying to hard. This... album is the worst. It's almost safe to say that this entire album is a weak gimmick. The ryhmes are mediocre at best compared to todays standards. Fantastic rapper for a wrestler

Pros: Lyrics are creative, original, and down-to-earth at times; some of the songs come hard

Cons: not a rap masterpiece, but a great first effort

My wife is into wrestling and John Cena. I really am not a big fan of either, although I will watch occasionally. So, I listened to this CD with the expectation that it would be mediocre. However, it was better than average, great for a wrestler. I h...ave to say that he is a talented person, to be able to wrestle and rap like he does. Bumpy Knuckles and Trademarc complement his songs well too. Altogether, I give it an A, not quite an A+, but definitely worth giving a try. Read more Less
