    This is the best in the pearl jam collection. Monster tracks are Faithful, Given to Fly, Brain of J, Do the Evolution, Pilate. Get it.

    ...are you 15? Yield is their best work since Ten. Its full of new ways to evolve from those who satyed away from heroin and stil can be alive today to produce music. They are really the only band to last from that time of grunge - AND THEY DIDN'T... SELL-OUT TO DO IT. Isn't that amazing. And they still sell an average of 5 1/2 million per album. They still se out 80,000 seat arenas. They still exsist...and this album proves their integrity and heads are in the right place. They will survive and not be thought of as Led Zepplin wannabes...but as the Led Zepplin of their time. Watch. By the way - I love A.I.C. - don't get me wrong, but they are no Pearl Jam.     'Do The Evolution'

    It is completely a new style. The song directs itself toward current living creatures. In this world where technology, but to abuse and acuse more, it's quite reasonable to persuade others to obey. Well, more objects to use against us.The cartoon- re...minds me of July 15th 2000- alone shows weakness of all societies which fail to bring it up to standard. There's always situations that require great handling. I do not want to go on, but that's me. A big well done to Artist anyway. Read more Less

    In my opinion , Pearl Jam is the number 1 rock band of our generation . They are able to create songs that everyone can appreciate . Yield is one of my favorite pj albums . I examined every song one by one and they all offered something unique and sa...tisfying to me. My personal favorite songs on this album are Do the evolution , Faithful,Wishlist,All those yesterdays,Brain of J . The others are still good but I tend to listen to the above more frequently .I love Ed's screaming voice when he yells DO THE EVOLUTION near the end of that song. Eddie's voice will never be matched ,not today ,not tomorow ,NEVER . And for those who write reviews here saying things like PJ SUCKS!!! , I think your allowed to your opinion , but just don't say that they suck , tell us why they suck and don't come back...     Appeals to the softer side of hard-rocke

    I don't know what it is about it, but I love this album. Overall, it's a more mellow record than Pearl Jam's previous works, and it does take a little getting used to, but once it settles, it's a musical experience not soon to be forgotton. Though ...songs like "Do The Evolution" and "Brain Of J." grab your attention with their harder edged style, the more beautifully crafted songs like "Low Light", "Wishlist" and of course "Given To Fly", make it a classic.     Once again the mixed reviews. People are pissed because PJ will never be PJ like in Ten. The band matured people, and we may never see another Ten. It took me a few times hearing it to finally click. It is a great album, and they never fail with thei...r albums. Each song has it's sound from the "punkish" "Brain of J.", Led Zeppelin-ish "Given to Fly", hard rocking "Do the Evolution", etc. People can't except these, but we true PJ fans do. And many us rate Yield as their fav. Read more Less
