    Pros: Excellent, hard driving metal

    This is one of my favorites by Overkill. The double bass drumbeat drives on, and the energy in the music is great. This is what 80's metal was all about.

    Good, Friendly, Violent Fun

    My first exposure to Overkill was Taking Over which also coincided when I discovered Metallica (Master of Puppets). Both are equally good thrash metal albums in their own respect. I think that this is tied for the best album from them with The Kill...ing Kind. Both are innovative head-banging thrash monsters and I can't seem to get enough of either. Blitz Ellsworth has the perfect screaming vocals for this band and it just wouldn't be the same without him. I would recommend this CD to anyone who likes heavy metal, thrash metal or punk metal It's all good! Read more Less

    OVERKILL does it again...they come out with another badass album that MUST be owned by any metalhead. I listen to this one everyday, I love it!!! Thanx for somethin' OVERKILL!!!

    i love OVERKILL there is no band that has more talent than these guys,,,, they RULE!!! some people say they dont like Bobby "Blitz" voice,,, whats up with that HE RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    This album was a musical milestone for Overkill. Art times the album suffers from weak scracthing riffs but, its a stronger album than Under The influence. The first half starts off excellent but then it kind of drags as the blandness of the melodies... takes away some of the steam thanks to three songs. But then again they're not really weak tracks, but could've been a lot better. Read more Less

    This was my first exposure to Overkill, and, needless to say, I'm now a devoted fan. This album kicks MUCH ass. Elimination and I Hate are awesome (gotta love that opening guitar riff in Elimination...yow!!) and, as several others have already noted ...here, Years of Decay has got to be one of the best metal-ballads ever.     Overkill's classic album, starts with a rush and never lets up. Elimination is just one of the songs that has become a crowd favourite, and the tital track is a haunting metal ballad that remains timeless. A must have for anyone into metal.
