    This is the soundtrack from the Irish TV film of Thomas Flannagan's haunting book. The divergent musical themes accent the aspirations of the participants - McCarthy, the doomed and melancholy poet; Wolfe, the naive would be revolutionary, and th...e English who could not understand the country they held.
